Charlie Ergen to Speak at TPI Aspen

WASHINGTON (May 3, 2021) – Charlie Ergen, co-founder of DISH Network and current Chairman of the Board of Directors for DISH and EchoStar, will deliver a keynote address at this summer’s TPI Aspen Forum. Ergen has been a force for disruption and innovation in video and data transmission ever since he co-founded Echosphere in 1980. He drew the ire of the major networks and the applause of consumers by introducing DVRs and the ability to skip commercials. He later pioneered over-the-top live television with the launch of Sling TV. Today, DISH is building the nation’s first cloud-native Open RAN-based 5G network.

We will discuss this and more at TPI Aspen Forum, and we will get to do it outside of our own homes!* Register now to reserve your spot.

Safety and security of an in-person forum will be reassessed June 1.
