A top U.S. Justice Department official will headline day three of the Technology Policy Institute’s annual Aspen Forum to be held August 18-20 in Aspen, Colorado.
Assistant Attorney General Makan Delrahim, the U.S. Justice Department’s anti-trust chief, will cover antitrust and related technology policy issues during a keynote conversation with Brian Sullivan, anchor of CNBC’s “Worldwide Exchange.”
Their discussion will occur on Tuesday, August 20, at 8:30 am Mountain.
“The Justice Department and Makan Delrahim play a huge role in the future of the tech sector,” said TPI President and Senior Fellow Scott Wallsten. “And CNBC’s Brian Sullivan has such an impressive record of reporting on business and markets that this is sure to be an excellent conversation.”
Other Aspen Forum presenters announced this week include Federal Trade Commissioners Noah Joshua Phillips and Rebecca Kelly Slaughter, who will engage in a separate panel discussion moderated by Microsoft Vice President and Deputy General Counsel Julie Brill, a former FTC commissioner.
The FTC Commissioners are scheduled to speak on Monday, August 19 at 10:45 a.m. Mountain.
