WASHINGTON – The Technology Policy Institute (TPI) is pleased to announce that Bryan Tramont, Managing Partner at the law firm of Wilkinson Barker Knauer (WBK), has joined TPI’s Board of Directors. He was elected to the role by a unanimous board vote in December.
As managing partner, Tramont has been named repeatedly as one of the nation’s top telecommunications attorneys in US News–Best Lawyers, Chambers, Legal 500, and Super Lawyers..Prior to joining WBK, Tramont served as chief of staff to former FCC Chairman Michael Powell, as well as senior legal advisor to Chairman Powell and two other FCC commissioners. Bryan also serves on the adjunct law faculty at the University of Colorado and Catholic University of America.
“We are delighted to have Bryan Tramont on our board,” said TPI President and Senior Fellow Scott Wallsten. “Very few people are as accomplished and knowledgeable on spectrum and all manner of telecommunications and tech policies as Bryan—and fewer still are as liked and respected.
