Latest in “TPI Shorts” Video Series Covers the Complicated World of Music Licensing

May 19, 2017 – “Music Licensing in 12 Minutes”, a primer outlining the current music licensing regime and possibilities for reform, is now available on TPI’s YouTube channel.

The video reviews the complex history of music licensing, explains inequities in the current system which relies on technological classification, and reveals opportunities for a consensus on reforms.

Music Licensing in 12 Minutes” is the latest installment in the TPI Shorts video series, which condenses TPI events into short, coherent discussions of key policy issues.
