The Technology Policy Institute is hosting an exciting event on evidence-based policymaking at its offices in Washington, DC, on Tuesday November 5, 2019. My colleague and co-member of the Commission on Evidence-Based Policymaking, Robert Shea, and I have developed a half-day program aimed at making the most of the Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act. The particular focus will be on using behaviorally-informed insights to learn and do what works.
The event, titled “Using Behavioral Economics to Tackle Agency Challenges and Meet Evidence Act Goals,” features an exemplary group of leaders in the area of evidence-based policymaking. Representatives of agencies across the federal government are invited to participate. We think it will be a terrific opportunity to move the ball forward on evidence-based decision making.
The event is made possible through a generous grant from the William T. Grant Foundation.
